The #forthekidsGP Foundation is a community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of Saint Paul Como Park’s late son, brother, friend and devoted elementary school teacher, George Paitich. We honor George through charitable giving, including scholarship rewards to local, aspiring school teachers and school supply drop-offs to various local schools.

We are pleased to share this tribute from KSTP! To buy the books, $1,000 was contributed from #forthekidsGP and $1,000 from gofundme funds generated in honor of George's late brother Max! All of the proceeds from the book sales are distributed to two charities, Highland Friendship Club and Thumbs Up for Mental Health. ![]()

Dean and Bridget Paitich donated over 100 copies of "The Right Thing to Do" by Joe Schmit and Joe Mauer to fourth graders at Como Park Elementary School to honor their sons' memories.
